Erica Volpe is currently a nutrition dietetics student at Immaculata University. Her passion for dance started at the age of three and has stayed with her all her life. She trained at Paul Klocke’s Dance Studio where she was also on the competition team and traveled to competitions and dance conventions. This experience provided her with the wonderful opportunity of taking master classes from choreographers on So You Think You Can Dance and flying out to California for a week long dance convention and performing in Disneyland. Erica received a special award from Cathy Roe’s Ultimate Dance Competition when Cathy Roe noticed her in a group jazz dance for having high energy.
Erica is now proudly the vice president and part time choreographer for the Immaculata University Dance Company, which also hosts the Chester County Dance Festival in the spring. She is also a member of The Balance Dance Company and had the wonderful opportunity to perform at many events and train in partnering. Her goals for the future are to become a registered dietitian for a sport or dance team and continue her passion for dance wherever it may take her – although she would absolutely love to be a backup dancer for a singer! Every heart has a story to tell and dancing is one of the best ways that Erica expresses herself.
